And who knows - maybe i will update it more in the future. Anyway - the most important is that Yatzi is good! And she is ! Yatzi was a moviestar for 2 long days - but at the end they didn't plan it well and we could not shoot the final scene with Yatzi (cause one of the main actors couldn't be there) and they ended up cutting Yatzi out of the short movie. Of course it could have been fun to see her in a movie (and i could have seen it in Grand Theater) - but anyway we got a bit experience together. Here is a photo of my moviestar - looking really poor and ready to be found by the main actor: She was really awsome - doing all i asked her to and being very patient. But honestly i am not sure i would help out in a movie another time - there is so much waiting..... Also in May Yatzi was a star in a crazy theater at Vesterbro. I was in the show with the Shorty Shorts (a Charleston girls show group) - but sunday (last day of 5 days acts) the other girls couldn't participate - but instead i got help from Yatzi :) We did an improvised act to "It don't mean a thing - if it ain't got that swing" - and the audience loved it :) It was where we met Simone - and what a nice thing that was ;) In June we was at a great 2 days agility course with Anita & Jaako from Finland. Also in June we did a show at Bakken - and got a photo with Pjerrot (he is really Big!): In july we went to Herräng - the greatest Swing Dance Camp in the world. It was the second year i brought Yatzi for 2 weeks of camping and taking lessons and having fun :) So nice! Yatzi is very popular there and she ended up starring in a little musicvideo where we did dog dance to the famous Dawn Hamptons song "Life Is What You Make It". Dawn is a very old and marvelous lady who is in Herrang every year -and she enjoyed the video (and made me very happy). It put a focus on Dawn as a singer and we all got to hear a very special piece of music where Dawn really had a voice - wauw!!! What a summer!!!! Now Yatzi got another dogtraining in her life - i have tought Simone some training methods and he is a fast learner - so not long after he had tought Yatzi a new jumping trick - look at this: Last but not least i want to write very shortly about my biggest experience as a HTM judge so far - judging Nordic Championship 2011 in Norway. I was very nervous before - i knew how important it is for the competitors but also for the sport how we judge, and how there is more focus on the biggest competitions. Also there was very little time to judge - 1 minute and the experienced english judge hold us to the time, which was fine. In the beginning it was hard, but then i started really trusting my feelings and it got easier. The competition was really good - and the final even better where all was shining! There was so many fine shows :) After the competition i got some complaints about my judging which not was so fun - but as a judge you have to be prepared for that and i also believe that's why we are 3 and not 1 judge in HTM. I value the show high - that's what make HTM so amazing - that is is more than an obedience competition. Now we are close to Christmas and New Year - and i wish everybody a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Turns out some guys from Copenhagen Filmschool doing a final exam project - and they needed a dog to be in the shortmovie. I met with them - and they just love Yatzi - so now we are gonna shoot the dog scenes 20th and 21th of May. Gonna be a fun challenge for me and Yatzi! I hope to get some cool photos from the moviemaking :) Stay tuned.... PS: Yatzi has won 2 times 4th places the last two agilitycompetitions - look forward to Hvalsø saturday!

I must say i was a bit surprised - it is really hard to imagine how your own performance looks like when you enter - and i didn't feel that it went that well.... but i guess i am just to focused on little mistakes. I am SO proud of Yatzi - she did so well! She is so focused when we do tricks. Very nice to work with! Almost sadly we got enough qualification points to go to class 2 - so i need to create another program till next time! Maybe i should stick to a jazz-number - i liked that a lot! Here's some pictures of Yatzi doing tricks (not at the competition): At the competition Yatzi also was my star outside the ring - she was so happy and sweet - here is a nice picture of Yatzi and our speciel friend Kaare talking together:

Sundays competitions in Ribe went really well - Yatzi ran very well. We started the day with a clean run in Agility 1 and got our final leg and a 2. place. Next run was in Agility class 2 :) But she was a bit to fast off the dogwalk - so i stopped her - and got a disqualification. I will rather loose a run or two - to not let her think she can stop waiting for my go at competitions. It made her a better "listener" in the next run - another Agility class 2 - and we got another clean run and another 2. place. Right after Jane & Jiggy - and we were the only couples with clean runs. The 2 jumping classes had focus on send-forwards and we definitely have to go practise that some more - or i need to be able to run extremely fast - so i guess it will be the first . In the last run Yatzi was tired in her head from a long trip and a lot of runs - and we got a disqualification for taking a jump backwards (cause she drifted to far away). It was a really nice day - great weather, very nice people, well organised competition, got to see Zoya (puppy from Jiggy's first litter) the best start of an agility year for me and Yatzi. Here's a photo of me and my sweet friends that went to Ribe and got 4 qualifying legs between the three of us. Thx you girls for a very nice trip! My new agility shoes didn't make it to Copenhagen before monday - so i look forward to testing them next time

I am really looking forward to it! Yatzi is very good at practise these days - and she is very full of energy. AND i have ordered new agilityshoes - cross your fingers that they will arrive before the weekend.

I really look forward to another cosy and fun week at Dania Cup with all my agility friends this summer :) - Herräng - big dancecamp in Sweden - i took lessons and had lots of fun - Yatzi was the dog-star of the camp and participated in a cabaret and in a big Circus party. We will go again this year - yeeha!! Check the camp out at Herrang.com - Puppies!!! My best friend had puppies at her border collie Jiggy and me and Yatzi stayed there the whole 10 weeks before all the puppies were picked up - 7 wonderful pups ;) At first Yatzi thought they were very weird things (before they knew dog-language) but in the end she started playing with them - read about the litter here: www.all-zet.dk - and here's the best picture of Aunt Yatzi: - Finally we have moved back to Amager after 1 year on Frederiksberg. It is a very nice and big appartment and lots of good places to walk Yatzi. Yatzi has turned 4 year now (March 2011) and i am very pleased with her - love her! She is very sweet to all the small dogs we meet, good at telling the brash male dogs off and very nice to children :) She loves showing off tricks - so i see her as a very good ambassador to dog training. She is not perfect - for example i am not that happy with her chasing ducks! And rollerskaters if she was allowed. And she her stomach is not that strong... And she is a quite "talking" dog. But nobody is perfect - still love her!

Yatzi won the prize as dog of the year 2010 in Freestyle class 1 (beginners) in the Danish Border Collie Club - I am very proud of her.
I will not make any promises - considering how long since my last update - but i will try to write more in 2011 - and with a new computer it is more likely to happen .

Jiggy was very happy about Yatzi's visit - it has been a while because of the kennel cough. The two dogs get along SO well. I guess just as their owners .

There were lots of mountainbikers and other people walking there dogs - and Yatzi behaved to nicely. Last winter Yatzi was stressed up and made one to many runs after the bikes - so i am very pleased with her contact to me now. 3 bikers told me that she was very obedient when she was lying down when they passed.
Yatzi has a lot of energy after the kennel cough and elimination from other dogs for a couple of weeks. So it will be great coming to agility practise on wednesday!
